Erupting from a volcano, A lush imaginary jungle, Flamboyant rhubarb, Blazing luxuruous wood, A perfume from myths, Ode to the delicate power, Of a heroic nature
A New Planet, a new Universe.
ENCELADE is a natural satellite of Saturn, discovered in 1789. Another bluish planet covered in snow, fresh water and probably seismically active. Besides the dreamlike thought that Enceladus might one day be covered by a green jungle, the mythological figure embodies power, rebellion and character. The satellite represents freshness, softness and purity. In mythology, Enceladus, son of Gaia (Earth) and Uranus (Heaven), was defeated by Athena after the Giants attempted to climb Mount Olympus to join the gods. Legend has it that he was buried under Sicily and still breathes through the smoke and eruptions of the volcano Etna.
Shadow-light relationship within a perfume which plays its paradoxes with delight. Main accord of rhubarb, cedar and vetiver express the smell of Earth, sap, lush nature. Green and woody notes which comes to mingle with the crash of smoked and animal leather. Milky sandal wood and tonka bean add sensuality and addiction to the skin. Pure seduction of a perfume conveying a wild magnetism. Its sensuality and originality, its green and woody notes, will seduce both men of character. Like other perfumes of Marc-Antoine Barrois, ENCELADE was formulated by the perfumer Quentin Bisch.
ENCELADE is a flaboyant artistic woody, green, leathery perfume. Elevatet by Quentin Bisch to absolute sophistication.
